Plain Lucky This Time
Feel so sleepy today.. Slept a bit late last nite. Watch CSI, then The Practice.This morning, saw fine ticket at the van.. Hubby kena fine again!! Now its $30 coz he never put the hourly parking coupon after parking at around 8.30pm. He only put the overnite parking. Wat a luck! He just got fine last week during Raya Haji when he park at the loading/unloading bay. He was fined $100!! But he did make an appeal for that last Monday. So just now in the afternoon, he got a reply from HDB and this is wat they replied :
"Please refer to your e-mail of 24 Jan 2005.
2 We wish to explain that the loading and unloading bay is provided for
the purpose of making it easier for residents and public to carry out
loading/unloading activity. Enforcement action is taken only after
sufficient time allowance is given and no activity is observed. If vehicles are allowed to be parked for long duration without any activity, it will encourage more motorist to follow suit and therefore undermine the purpose and concept for the provision of loading/unloading bays.
3 On 21 Jan 2005, the above vehicle bearing registration no. GT **** B
was found parked from 4.15pm to 4.34pm in the loading and unloading bay next to Block 32 Marine Crescent without any activity. Hence, the notice of intended prosecution was issued for the infringement of Rule 3(a) of the Housing and Development (Common Property And Open Spaces) Rules (Cap 129, R3).
4 Nevertheless, we have decided to waive the fine in this instance.
Please do comply with the parking rules as we will not be able to consider appeal against any parking offence committed in future."
We are so lucky this time.. Guess this is lesson to hubby.. Don't suka suka park ur vehicle..!!
